Supercell Tests Out Boom Beach In Germany, Finland - Android Community

Clash of Clans Strategy Guide - Tapscape

IMG 1089 1024x576 Clash of Clans Strategy Guide Boom Beach has a very simple premise, much like Clash of Clans it builds on the historical D-Day events in the shores of France as Allied troops stormed Europe to regain control back from Germany in the Second World War. The animations and characters, although not specifically named as such, are subtly pointing to WWII references. As the primary player, you get to command troops to attack islands of an archipelago by first storming the islands beaches hence the games name. The attacks are short gaming processes, pretty much the same in any tower attack game you will see around. The online multiplayer and social aspect is where the game gets its complexity, just like Clash of Clans. Your player can create your own base on an islands and protect it from attacks. But primarily, you get to attack other players bases this is where you gain in-game resources to buy materials and upgrades. Nothing particularly new in this model, but Supercell would like to show its audience something new to play, though not necessarily deviating from Clash of Clans formula. If you are not from Finland or Germany, there are two ways to go for you first is to actually wait for the game to make it out of geographical testing and into your region, but who actually waits these days?

Spending A Week With Supercell's 'Clash of Clans' - Forbes

clash of clans2 Your mortars are your most important defensive structure. They deal a huge amount of splash damage, and have a very wide radius of attack. If you lose your mortars, theres a good chance the rest of your base will fall. Always wall off your mortars separately from other buildings, or ensure that there are at least two layers of walls that must be breached before the enemy can reach them. Separately partition your town hall and mortars, place non-essential buildings outside your walls Walling is an essentialdefensestrategy in Clash of Clans, and there are a few key points to keep in mind. Always wall off your essential buildings. Essential buildings include your town hall, mortars, cannons, towers (archer and wizard), gold and elixir storage. Everything else (barracks, army camps, laboratory, clan castle, builders huts) is disposable. Its important toprioritizewhich structures you protect, because you never have enough wall to protect them all.

boom1 You can spend gold to upgrade your defenses to protect your valuables from attackers, and you spend elixir on an army to try and steal the same valuables from others. While buildings take hours or days, you can rustle up an army in anywhere from 5-15 minutes (at least using the more basic units), and head out to attack other players or AI. There is a hint of a game aspect here, something that many mobile titles actually cant boast. Theres a strategy in how you arrange your base, and how to best upgrade it so you can fend off attacking hordes as you rise through the ladders ranks. You can watch replays of how invaders have sacked your castle, and rearrange your base in order to avoid repeating such a fate. The same goes for strategy when you attack others. Ive gone into many a battle thinking I could flood over a rival castle with pure numbers, only to realize sixty archers are useless when theyre positioned so they can be atomized by a single mortar shot. You have to plan each assault based on the defenses of your opponents, and its a constant struggle to beat new and better players while keeping your own home safe. Itsfun. But still, the waiting starts to become exponentially more tiresome the higher you level.
